Pandora Mather-Lees
Art
We are excited to welcome Ms. Pandora Mather–Lees to our esteemed team.
Pandora has carved a niche in the world of art – an asset class in itself. Unicus Research prides itself in offering actionable, timely insights and research to our growing list of clients across the globe. The Art Market has grown exponentially over the last decade, attracting wealth managers; interest because their clients either have or will acquire fine art assets that have been appreciated. Working with Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO) means understanding their art collection as part of their overall wealth. This is not straightforward given that art is a passion purchase or that the collection may have been acquired or inherited by means other than their collecting strategies.
Ms. Pandora has an esteemed clientele. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She holds a first-class degree in the History of Art from Manchester University and a Masters of Studies (MSt) in Ancient History from Keble College, Oxford. She is a member of the Association of Art Historians and a Liveryman in the Worshipful Company of Arts Scholars based in London, England.
As an Art Historian, Director of Pandora Art Services, Pandora's career spans 25 years at the Board level in the cultural sector focusing on business strategy, marketing and education. As Managing Director of Bridgeman Images, Bridgeman Education, and as VP of Global Sales at Artnet.com, Pandora worked extensively with museums, galleries, and auction houses globally, bringing the world’s great art collections to the commercial market and schools, colleges, and universities. In addition, Pandora has worked in art logistics both with Hedley’s Group and Momart.com.
Pandora is a founder member of the Art Due Diligence Group, which safely guides purchasers of high- value artworks through pre-sale and post-sale due diligence. We are thrilled to have her as a part of our team.
